DON'T JUST SIT THERE
A production of Jane Thornton's Don't Just Sit There, directed by myself and performed and designed entirely by members of the Godber Theatre Foundation, funded by I Am Fund. The show is my debut as a theatre director.
Don't Just Sit There will be performed at Hull Truck Theatre and in schools across Hull and East Yorkshire.
VAULT FESTIVAL NEW DIRECTORS PROGRAMME
As one of only six directors in the country to be chosen, I was a member of the inaugural New Directors Programme with VAULT, supported by Warner Media, at the Theatre Deli, London. At the conclusion of the course, I directed an extract from Enyu Li's Your Teenage Prayer at The Pleasance Theatre - my first directed piece of work in London's West End. Reviews included: "the relationship on stage was well defined and directed with truth and complexity" (Josh Treacy, BBC Drama) and "the piece was very well directed" (Rebecca Jones, SLAM!).
